Thumbnails.

Making someone click on a YouTube video—especially for a video of some strangers dancing in a random street—has become much harder.
Thumbnails are a very specific form of art -
with minimized informativity, it leaves a powerful impact on the viewer, allowing it to be a determining factor of whether to click on a video or not.
Having the taste of designing thumbnails for dance videos, thumbnail design has become one of the projects that I am the most excited for. As a decade-long fan of K-Pop, it allows me to be in the shoes of the designers in the in the industry—those who create album covers and teasers and stuff.

Thumbnail design isn't just about photos and logos.
I play with the colors, adjust the logos and type text where necessary, add more people in the background for the "public" element, and even adjust dancers' hair, outfits, and formations.
